For the first time in a while, I took a quick morning stop at the lake with my camera before work, and I was not disappointed. As always, the grasses, bushes and adolescent trees seethe with life and color. It makes the rest of the hectic day more balanced when traces of beauty seep into the soul. It only takes moments for it to happen if allowed. Then, when least expected, it comes forth as melodious laughter, good conversation, peaceful transactions. I like that in a day.

To Martha in the hospital, rest. To Michelle Girard who left me a phone message days ago and I just listened to it today, I'm so sorry I missed you. To all those who take time in the day to follow this blog- peace.
Love, Linda

Restore our fortunes, O Lord,
like the watercourses in the Negeb,
May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy.
Those who go out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts
of joy,
carrying their sheaves.
Psalms 126:4-6
