Mama's Blessing

My sister,Martha, suggested I share this story with you. It's from my Christmas Collection. Mama is no longer with us as she was when I wrote the original. I lost my copy, and Martha scanned hers for me. I tried making it larger but had difficulty. I hope you can read it and share in our blessings.
Merry Christmas!

The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the
world. John 1:9

Peace.
Love, Linda

Thank you Linda and Martha for the reminder. My copy is on my kitchen wall.I was missing it for quite a while after moving to my current house. I finally determined it was no longer in my possession. One day while doing yard work or cleaning or something at Ruthie's house I saw the lady that bought my little house to rent out and asked had she seen a framed piece on the kitchen wall She went inside and brought it out. It had by then been on that kitchen wall for a few months. I trust that it was a blessing to those persons who chose not to remove it from its spot in that tiny kitchen. I read it a month or so ago for the end of a Sunday School lesson. I received many positive comments about the lesson that day...and yes Linda I did give you the credit.

Over the years, I've shared this with several people. It needs to be shared.

Thank you both. I think that it was nice they left it on the wall in the little house, and I appreciate that both of you have shared it. I accidentally left a blank page in my Christmas section of my book, and had forgotten about "Mama's Blessing" because I didn't have a copy of it. I left the page there knowing something would come to me to fill it. As soon as Martha brought it up, I knew it was for that page. Love you. Linda
